Well folks, I know that it has been forever! The last month has been very busy. It takes a long time to learn how to be a milk man. I have now successfully managed to memorize the locations of over 800 homes in the Idaho Falls area working 10-11 hour days five days a week. As of two weeks ago, I started to do the route by myself. I found my work day shortening each week, to 10 hours, the 9 hours, and now I am pushing for 8 hours a day this week. I am no longer going to work Friday's (having a 3 day weekend every week is awesome).
During the last month some very funny things happened. Here is a list of some of the best!
1. My entire family was driving in the car in the Drive thru of Sonic, we were ordering ice cream. My dad pulled up to the menu, rolled down is window, while simultaneously, Staci was making some too much noise and so my dad yelled at her QUIET! He happened to yell this at the same time, the young lady came on to take our order. The microphone turned quiet, and a couple minutes later a older gentleman got on the phone, whom I am assuming was the manager. I like to think that my Dad made the girl cry.
2. I don't want this to be arrogant or anything, but one night when Staci and her friend, Ian, were over and were playing games with Kelly and me, I was rather hyper, and in my excitement, I exclaimed "I thought all pigs were bacon"! It is true that not all pigs are made into bacon, but I am sure that they all wish they were. Bacon is the greatest of all meats.
3. For all of those that doubt that having a HDTV is really all that different that the piece of crap thing sitting in your living room right now, you are in denial. HDTV really is that much better (we just got one), the sound really is amazing, and you are running out of excuses not to get one. Don't wait too long or you might miss the NBA finals on an HDTV, where you will get the chance to see the spit flying out of Phil Jackson's mouth when he whistles (yes you really can see it).
